Athens I

pnyx

Pnyx. Athens,  Greece. Photo: Ana Villas Boas, 2016.

Crossing the hills

Presence of past in each step along the path;

Listening gods, muses, poets, philosophers;

Touching rocks, stones, olive trees;

The lights, shadows, hidden secrets.

All holding me,

Around the ancient city.
