Running Made of Music

Beginning slowly
step by step
an anxious heart beating so fast
a high inner heat
mind still busy
one thousand of thoughts
the past and the future present
except the present moment

Slowly…

The forest embraces
and the senses wake up
the body feels surrounded
an inner strenght grows
and expands
the mind is quiet
the mood has changed
in a body in motion

Up hill!

The wonder view!

Descent accelerated
[there isn’t another way]
three mountains to up and down
heart in the mouth again
but the mind is empty
the body is full of energy
life is the path
nothing else matter.

One Response to Running Made of Music

  1. This beautiful poem works a counterpoint between the mind and the body. Paradoxically, the mind is the speed, the acceleration. The body, transposed to the hill, the altitude, reaches the stillness through the silence and the panorama. The ‘Self’ is bathed in this synergy, reborn from identify the climbing as a path, and the life as a cosmic communion and – in the end – all we have left – and is enough for us – is the blue, and a slightly silent natural symphony.
